An exciting opportunity for eurythmists interested in training to become eurythmy therapists is in planning to begin in January 2026. This new, one-off opportunity has been developed in conjunction with the Eurythmy Therapy Trainers’ Circle under the Medical Section at the Goetheanum and aims to provide students with a diploma recognised by the Medical Section upon completion of studies.
There are three pathways within the training in an attempt to meet the needs of the widest range of potential participants.
* Eurythmy Therapy Training for recently graduated eurythmists.
The course structure and content will align with international standards, supporting graduates to attain their diploma in eurythmy therapy.
*. Professional Development for eurythmy educators. For those working in education looking to deepen their relationship to the healing elements of eurythmy to bring towards their classes. The training will offer flexible options of professional development blocks along with shorter sessions. These blocks will run in parallel to the main training.
* Pathway to Diploma for practicing therapists; for those who have completed a training but whose diploma is not recognised by the Medical Section and IKAM. This pathway takes into account your previous learning and extends what you have learned with additional, comprehensive lessons/modules to meet the training requirements necessary for the Medical Section’s Diploma in Eurythmy Therapy.
The training will be held over 3 years and involves two in-person modules per year of two and three weeks duration, occasional weekend workshops between modules, and ongoing assignments and study projects. Exact dates and fees will be determined by the number of committed participants.
If you are/might be interested–please let one of the organisers know as soon as possible. They are very willing to speak with you and answer any questions you might have about the course. Patries Orange, Sue Gould, Michelle Nicholls.
