About

Eurythmy therapy is practiced widely throughout the world in clinics, hospitals, schools, special education settings, aged care and in private practice.

Anthroposophic Medicine

Anthroposophic medicine was developed out of the work of Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925). Eurythmy therapy works together with anthroposophic medicine to support the healing processes in the human being. Eurythmy therapists work with a three-fold picture of the human being, harmonising and balancing the nerve-sense, rhythmic and metabolic systems of the human body. The healthy life forces are called upon through movement to act in a preventative way and to promote health.

How it works

Out of conversation, observation of the client’s movement and their needs, an individual program is designed. This program evolves with the client during the course of the eurythmy therapy sessions. The therapy is reinforced and works most effectively through practice. A minimum of 7 sessions is recommended, subject to individual needs.
